Giving Tree – Volunteers collect and provide presents and food for families in need at Christmas through We Care In the Name of Christ.
Homebound Parishioners – Eucharistic Ministers bring the Eucharist to those parishioners who are homebound permanently due to illness or due to an illness and/or recovery. Contact the parish office, 637-2404.
Ushers – With a handshake and a friendly smile, ushers welcome all to St. Basil by assisting with seating, and helping with collections and Communion.
Knights of Columbus – Under the mission umbrella of offering Catholic men the opportunity to live their lives in charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism, Knights support the church, school and community activities associated with the St. Basil Parish. Activities include, but are not limited to, Lenten fish dinners, ‘Light up the Lake’ concessions, pancake breakfast, Tootsie Roll fund drive in support of the mentally handicapped, ‘Warm Your Heart’ fundraising and more. Nursing Homes – Eucharistic Ministers bring the Eucharist to Catholic residents who reside at River Ridge, Laurel Oaks, and South Haven Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Contact the parish office, 637-2404.
Open Door Community Dinner – St. Basil volunteers provide a hot evening meal and hospitality in cooperation with other civic organizations and in the ecumenical effort with other churches to provide for those in need. St. Basil works the first Tuesday of each month at First United Methodist Church of South Haven. Call the parish office, and we will put you in contact with the person handling it.

Women’s Service Guild – Through its membership, the WSG provides many opportunities for fellowship and service in the parish including the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Bake Sales, Annual Rummage Sale, and a Christmas Cookie Tray Sale.
The WSG financially supports many of the activities of the parish and our community.
